O’Connor ran the 3K Van Cortlandt Park course in 11:02. Freshman Jillian Fauser (Northport, N.Y.) finished with a time of 11:35 and sophomore Justine Noel (Brooklyn, N.Y.) crossed in 11:35.
On the men’s side, Forbes completed the course in 9:20. Sophomore Mark Appledorf (Hauppauge, N.Y.) finished in 9:27 and junior Brandon Leung (Rego Park, N.Y.) crossed eight seconds later.
Both squads are back in action on October 31 at the America East Championships, hosted by the University of Vermont. The men’s race is at 10:30 followed by the women’s race at 11:30.
